Set within Wimbledon village, we were given the brief to design a luxurious show home within a prestigious building which once was the Atkinson Morley Hospital. It was a privilege working with such a characterful historic building and we knew from the outset, that we wanted our designs to enhance these features.
The neutral undertones of the finishes and fabrics created a serene and calm environment within the apartment. The full height bespoke headboard in the master suite coupled with a contemporary luxurious wallpaper with layers of multi textural fabrics, including silk wool and velvets which emulated luxury. In both guest bedrooms we designed contemporary shaped headboards that were both unique and tailored to the client, mixed with cashmere throws, silk quilts, and tactile finishes in the accessories such as faux shagreen, and plasterwork.
Every detail was considered, down to the arched blinds and sheers, highlighting the architectural details whilst being practical and providing privacy from the surrounding development.
The open plan kitchen, living and dining space were integral to the property and needed to serve many functions whilst still remaining being beautiful and eye catching. We echoed the arched shaped windows with our curved bespoke bar stools; with the textured fabric adding another dimension of interest to the area. Zoning was key to help differentiate the main areas whilst the colour palette flowed throughout giving a sense of calm to the property.
